Suzanne Collins
Suzanne Collins (born 1962) is an American author and screenwriter best known for The Hunger Games series, a landmark of young adult dystopian fiction adapted into a multi‑film franchise. A former children’s television writer, she also authored The Underland Chronicles and picture books including Year of the Jungle. In 2025 she published Sunrise on the Reaping, set during the 50th Hunger Games, with a film adaptation scheduled for 2026.
