AI Services and Data Processing
Important: AI-Powered Features
Orchestra uses artificial intelligence to generate encyclopedia articles. When you search for a topic that doesn't exist, we may send your search query to AI services to create new content.
- OpenAI - We send article topics (not personal data) to generate encyclopedia content
- Brave Search - We send search queries to provide suggestions and find relevant images
- No Personal Data - Your personal information is never sent to AI services
Data Sharing and Third Parties
- We do not sell your data to any third parties
- We do not share personal data except as required to operate this site
- Core Infrastructure - We use Supabase for authentication and data storage, and hosting providers for site delivery
- Legal requirements - We may disclose information if required by law
Data Retention
- Account data - Retained until you delete your account
- Usage data - Retained for up to 2 years for analytics and improvement
- User activities - Edit suggestions and contributions retained indefinitely as part of community content
- Generated articles - AI-generated content retained indefinitely to serve the encyclopedia
