Frequently Asked Questions
About Orchestra
What is Orchestra?
Orchestra is building the world's most comprehensive encyclopedia—an evolving record of everything in the known universe. Our mission is to document knowledge with depth, accuracy, and integrity, harnessing the power of AI to help humanity understand more, together.
How is Orchestra different from Wikipedia?
While Wikipedia relies on human volunteers, Orchestra harnesses the scaling power of AI to create new articles as they are needed. Like Wikipedia, the platform is designed to be open and collaborative, so while AI creates the content, humans can and should review and improve it.
Is the content reliable?
Orchestra aims to be as accurate and reliable as possible—it's a core value of the platform. By default, all articles contain initial citations to reliable sources to provide foundational information. However, due to the probabilistic nature of AI and the open editing features of the platform, some information may be incorrect. We encourage you to review and improve articles with your own knowledge and sources to help build a better knowledge base for everyone.
