Learning analytics
Learning analytics is an interdisciplinary field that collects, analyzes, interprets, and communicates data about learners and learning to produce actionable insights that enhance teaching and learning. Emerging at the start of the 2010s with its own conferences, journals, and standards, the field spans methods from statistics and machine learning to human-centered design and policy, with growing attention to ethics, privacy, and governance.
