Designer toy
Designer toys, also called art toys, are limited-edition collectible figures created by artists and independent studios, often produced in vinyl, resin, or other materials and aimed at adult collectors. The movement emerged in the late 1990s from Hong Kong and Japan and has since grown into a global culture spanning platform figures, sofubi, kaiju-inspired works, blind-box retail, and artist–brand collaborations.
